On Thu 31 May 2012 the USPI annual MB (Management Board) meeting was held at the conferfence centre"Kontakt der Kontinenten, Soesterberg, NL The meeting consisted of an open part and a closed part.
The closed part ran from 13.00 - 14.00 hrs for members to endorse the Business Plan 2012.The open part ran from 14.00 - 18.00 hrs and was open to non-members with presentations and debate.
The blocks of presentations were:
- Engineering information hand over specification from plant owner to EPC and equipment suppliers Presentation by Jason Roberts from Shell Global Solutions on the way Shell manages hand over tot EPC and proposal for the joint CFIHOS project
- Presentation on two case studies into implementation of ISO 15926 (AixCape, ISO EQP activity by Manfred Theissen from AixCape and Open O&M by Glen Worall from Bentley
- Debate on the right way forward Implementation of standards in civil & construction.
A presentation by Joost Wijnen from Cadvisual, Building Smart on standards adoption
A presentation by Jeroen Pat from Era Contour on use of standards in practical house projects
Debate on where the sector stands with standards and common grounds with the other sectors i.e. process industry, ship building, aerospace - Knowledge management in maintenance
Presentation by Bas Kimpel from Momentive specialties on the MKM project achievements
Presentation by Pim Klinkenberg from Cofely-Suez on their position and activites in KM and their need to adopt the MKM project results in their companies. Debate on the future steps to take in of MKM
Conclusions and wrap up Drinks from 18.00 - 19.00 hrs
