New USPI/CFIHOS member SNC-Lavalin as per 01 oct 2018

SNC-Lavalin has joined USPI and will also join the CFIHOS project as Core member as per 01 October 2018. We welcome Simon Evans who will represent SNC-Lavalin on the management board (MB) of USPI.

  

About Simon Evans: 
Simon is the Director of Digital Engineering at SNC-Lavalin, a key strategic role in the global digital transformation of the SNC-Lavalin Group.
Prior to this, Simon led the development of digital engineering for Atkins’ Energy sector, and more recently as part of SNC-Lavalin’s oil and gas sector, where he was responsible for embedding digital engineering technology - from virtual and augmented reality to data analytics / visualisation and robotics - into the daily work of the business.

A chartered mechanical engineer, Simon's background is in the structural/mechanical design and analysis of offshore structures in the renewables (offshore wind) and oil and gas sectors
