On Wednesday 17 April 2019, the USPI annual MB meeting was held at the Yokogawa Offices in Amersfoort, NL.
The USPI annual meeting ran from 09:00 to 18:00 hrs, followed by drinks until 19:00 hrs
The meeting was successful in meeting the goals:
- To bring together international standards consortia to present their projects on Information Management
- To agree on the degree of orchestration that will be required
- To present standards development in the B&C and Infra sector in NL
- To present that USPI business plan for 2019 and rank possible projects
Conclusions from the meeting:
- The possible projects need work in developing the business case and see how the existing standards can be used
- The ISSC committee is taking the role of setting priorities for information standards in the process industry plant engineering supply chain
- The standards consortia present c9onfirm the need for orchestration of projects
- The connection of ISO 15288 with ISO 15926-11 leads to a useful set of standards and will assist B&C and Infra to grow form documents to data
It was considered very useful to have presentations on BIM in the agenda, it enhances mutual involvement in standards development.
The meeting was well attended, some 50 participants took part.
