We are pleased to announce that we will host the upcoming safari about cost and data planning, ISO 19008 which will be held online on Tuesday 11 October 2022 - 13:00-15:00 CE
OPENING WORDS: Anders Thostrup > Welcoming words from USPI to set the scene on the value of open discussion in support of standardising cost and planning data, with the help of ISO 19008.
INTRODUCTION & EXPECTATIONS: Introduction & expectations of participants > to understand participants areas of interest and questions from the onset of the session.
WHAT IS 19008? This high-level presentation will highlight the scope and activities of ISO 19008, and its future roadmap for development e.g. in the area of renewable resources. There will also be room to ask questions and discuss the standard's history and current content.
BUILDING ON BEST PRACTICES:
Three major Owner Operators (Shell, Equinor and Chevron) will discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with implementation of ISO 19008, such as improved cost estimating, planning and cost control, benchmarking across the industry and alignment with CFIHOS and other industry standards. Based on their experiences, participants will identify cross-sectoral synergies and common challenges that can be addressed by using the standard.
CLOSE, REVIEW AND FOLLOW-UP : Anders Thostrup will discuss opportunities for further knowledge exchange about ISO 19008, as well as improvements to the standard, including alignment with CFIHOS.
