On 14-16 June 2022 USPI held the industry 3D model standard FL3DMS 2.0 (Facilities Lifecycle 3D Model Specification) framing workshop. Please find below an update of the outcomes and share content that may be of interest to you.
Key achievements
- Agreed target content for FL3DMS Implementation Guide – process for implementation of the 3D model data standard
- Agreed target content for 3D-model Lifecycle Management Guide – requirements to keep 3D models as built for the full lifecycle
- Agreed principles and scope of data modelling team – for integration of 3D models with other design tools and digital twins
- Agreed improvements to FL3DMS for release 2.0 – to enable requirements management and make the standard easier to implement
